LRRC Week 46
Honestly, at this point my life has just been entirely taken up by Supernatural tumblr drama, with some other things interspersed. Blog who? NaNo what?
Anyway here’s some things that are not that.
LRRC Week 45
I'm writing this a few days in advance, which always feels like such a gutsy move. What fresh horror will you throw at me this time, 2020? What unexpected thing are you going to put in my path, forcing me to edit my captions or otherwise look silly?
LRRC Week 44
So, November, huh. It both feels wild and perfectly right that it has been however many months dealing with this pandemic, and that we are now once more approaching the cold dark months.
Stay strong, friends. We can make it through this. We will see each other on the other side of it.
EDIT: So I typed that a couple days ago and then NOVEMBER FIFTH happened and anyway I'm sleep-deprived and reeling and also still giggling helplessly about Supernatural so?? Take that as you will.
LRRC Week 43
Happy Halloween everyone!
LRRC Week 42
I am...deeply uncomfortable with the fact that this week means there are only ten more weeks left in the year 2020
No thank you!!!
LRRC Week 41
Hey!! It's CanCon weekend! That feels significant (and not just because I didn't finish my reading in time shooooooooosh). Kind of a sad reminder that we're all still living in this very strange world where friends only exist online and not in real life.
Hmm. Now I've just made myself a little sad. But, hey, you know what'll cheer me up? Reviewing some books! What's on the list for this week? Parable of the Sower? Err........
LRRC Week 40
Well..so much for my goal to read all my CanCon 2019 books before CanCon 2020…oops? They’re in my list! In the meantime, enjoy my “continuing to be swamped by library holds” reviews…
LRRC Week 39
Spoooooooooky month is here!
I have not chosen particularly spooky titles for this week. Or, come to think of it, for the next few. Sorry! You gotta check out my podcast for that kind of theming (/shameless plug).
LRRC Week 38
Been a hell of a week, hasn't it?
It feels a little like most weeks are, indeed, hells of weeks, but this past week especially.
Hang in there. At the very least, I've got too good recs for you this time.
LRRC Week 37
I have officially lost all control of my library holds list, if you're wondering where I'm at this week.
Also, even though Can*Con isn't happening in its usual capacity this year, I still feel a distinct need to actually read the books I bought at last year's Can*Con before the weekend that would normally host the end this year. So like, mid-October.
Wish me luck on trying to balance that goal with also reading through the books I've gotten from the library!
