LRRC Week 26
I was gonna make the requisite Livin' On A Prayer reference but tbh that song hits a bit different right now.
Anyway have some books!
LRRC Week 25
Almost the end of June huh.
Saw something about how 2020 is 48% done and I'm not sure if that feels like too much or not enough but it sure is wild.
LRRC Week 24
I don't know why I always want to start these out with the equivalent of going "womp womp" but...there it is. It's not even that the books this week were bad! Er, well.....anyway, you'll see.
LRRC Week 23
I know we've been in June since last week but time is fake and goddamn it's June already, huh??? Also, in my defence, I often read ahead and write these posts a little bit early and then schedule them. Shh.
LRRC Week 22
So, uh, I'm still posting this more for me than for anyone else because if I fall out of line it will sit in my head and itch there until it drives me (more) up the wall, but obviously, there's a lot of shit happening right now. In case it was unclear, I stand with the protestors against police brutality. Black Lives Matter, ACAB, abolish the police. If you somehow don't follow me on twitter, I've RT'ed a bunch of stuff on how to help - go do that.
LRRC Week 21
I briefly forgot how math worked and thought this was the halfway point, and had a minor panic attack about the movement of time and also the fact that I should've by all accounts been at book #52 this week. But it's okay, it's all good.
LRRC Week 20
Woof, 40 books in already. And yet somehow my "to-read" pile isn't shrinking at all. Hmm.
LRRC Week 19
I haven't really been counting days/weeks, but gosh, about two months in lockdown at this point, huh? Welp. One of the books I read was a really fun diversion from what was happening in the world. The other not so much, but still had pretty good thoughts!
LRRC Week 18
Another week already, huh? I can't decide if lockdown is moving slowly or flying by. I may have said that last week. I've lost all track of time and posts and oh god what's that??
LRRC Week 17
I know I commented on this last week but I absolutely cannot believe that it's the first of May today. I know we're all experiencing the fact that time has gone totally wonky and that it's incredibly weird and nothing is normal and that these aren't new observations.
